Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Burn Foundation.  We appreciate the time and energy you give because we could not do it without you! 

Please contact the Burn Foundation at 215-545-3816 if you are interested in volunteering for any of the following:   

New Jersey Firemen’s Convention - September 12 & 13, 2008 (Wildwood, NJ)
Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.  We are more than willing to work around your schedules.  Any available times you can provide would help us in a huge way! Volunteers will be provided with overnight accommodations and meals.  Help is needed to collect donations at the gates and to sell merchandise. 

35^th Anniversary Gala & Silent Auction – Friday, October 17, 2008 (Hyatt)
Volunteers are needed from 5-11 p.m. (the event runs from 6-10 p.m.) at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia (Columbus Ave.).  This is a formal event.  We need help with registration, the silent auction, and general issues throughout the night. 

Burn Foundation Golf Tour (April-October 2008)
Foundation lends assistance to companies and fire departments organizing golf tournaments to benefit the Burn Foundation.  The tournaments run from April-October.  Help is needed with registration, raffles, signage, etc.  Volunteers are provided shirts and meals.  A typical golf outing runs from 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.  Bring lots of sunscreen and plan on a great day outside!

Annual Joseph R. Rizzo Golf Outing (June 2008)
A Burn Foundation tradition!  Join us for our 34^th Annual Joseph R. Rizzo Golf Outing.  Volunteers are needed throughout the day in various capacities (i.e. registration, runners, raffles, signage, etc.).  Volunteers are provided with shirts and meals.  Celebrity golfers TBA.
